In December 2018 the staff and service users at the Martello Centre, Folkestone, took part in a fundraiser to raise money for Save the Children, a charity that the whole centre feels is very deserving and one that provides great support and opportunities for children less fortunate than others.
Everyone was encouraged to wear Christmas jumpers for a small donation. Lots of the staff and many service users had fun on the day, with many different jumpers on show. There was also an opportunity to take part in a raffle with some brilliant prizes.
In total, the team raised £50, which was matched by the Foundation’s match funding scheme.
Everyone enjoyed themselves and had a great day.
