Match-Funding Grant

FAQs

We appreciate that you will have questions about your Match-Funding Grant and have endeavoured to address what they might be below. If you have a question that is not listed, please email us at:info@caretechfoundation.org.uk

Yes, in order to ensure that there is sufficient funding for all staff members and service users to access the fund, we can only award up to £350 per application for Match-Funding. However, if your fundraising activity raised more than £350 and multiple CareTech employees took part, we may be able to match £350 per employee that participated as a group application. If this is applicable to you, please let us know on your application form that you raised these funds with other employees and provide their name and work email address.

No! We will match any fundraising activity as long as the recipient is a registered UK charity, you have raised at least £50, you are a CareTech employee, and you have given us evidence of your fundraising in your application (e.g., a link to an online donation page).

If successful, we will pay the grant directly to the recipient charity. We may ask you to contact the charity yourself to request bank account details and a payment reference to ensure the funds are correctly allocated to your total.

No, this is not obligatory! We ask all our successful applicants if we may post communications (typically on our website and/or social media) about your fundraising and grant, but this is not obligatory and does not affect consideration of your grant application. We request consent to publish communications for all grant recipients, as well as photos and a short summary of your fundraising activity, but successful applicants are more than welcome to refuse this request.

We may fund overseas applications, but please get in touch with a member of our team at info@caretechfoundation.org.uk to discuss your application and eligibility.
