The CareTech Foundation is proud to celebrate the successful conclusion of our partnership with Access Social Care, supporting the development and expansion of AccessAva.
AccessAva is a free digital tool designed to help people understand their social care rights and access the support they are entitled to.
Our funding helped strengthen AccessAva, providing people with 24/7 access to expert legal information and practical guidance. The platform enables users to generate personalised template letters to challenge social care decisions, request support from local authorities, and connect with specialist legal professionals where needed.
Since the launch of AccessAva’s national marketing campaign in July 2025, the platform has achieved:
- Over 50,000 website visits.
- 16,000 conversations with users.
- 35 hosting partners across England.
- 12 million social media impressions.
These results demonstrate the growing demand for accessible, rights-based information and the important role digital tools play in helping people, families and care professionals navigate complex social care systems with greater confidence.
As a grant-maker committed to strengthening the social care sector, the CareTech Foundation is proud to have supported Access Social Care in making expert legal guidance more accessible to those who need it most.
By empowering individuals to understand and exercise their rights, AccessAva is helping ensure more people can access the care and support they deserve, creating a lasting impact for service users, families and care professionals across England.
