Disability Resource Centre (DRC)
The Foundation helped to change delivery during Covid-19 providing telephone and online support
Autistica
Collaborating on Autistica’s 2030 Goals and CareTech’s Care4 ESG goals. Also, engaging CareTech staff and those with lived experience in knowledge exchange for future research.
Birkbeck
An engagement plan has been developed for CareTech staff involvement, with opportunities to participate in research projects in the BabyLab and ToddlerLab, volunteering opportunities in the wider college, and the college’s Mentoring Pathways programme.
Prince’s Trust
CareTech staff are mentoring young people considering careers in Health and Social Care.
Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB)
CareTech staff are helping to develop and test the training.
In addition, we have had four secondees from the wider business this year, supporting the development of the Foundation. While their support and the work they have achieved has been of great value, their feedback suggests the impact is not one way.
Nearly all our secondees report benefits to them personally and to their career paths and aspirations. Thank you to Georgia, Kelly, Lewis and Sam for their hard work!
