A Year of Making a Difference

As we enter a new financial year, we want to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has engaged with the Foundation and helped us continue to support CareTech Ltd colleagues, communities and good causes.

Throughout FY 25/26, we have seen strong demand across all areas of our funding, with hundreds of applications received and significant levels of financial support awarded.

Behind every figure is a colleague, community or cause receiving support where it matters.

As we look ahead to the new financial year, we remain committed to making a meaningful difference to CareTech Ltd colleagues, their communities and the causes close to their hearts.

Partnerships

Over this period, three of our partnerships came to an end, and we are thrilled to share the lasting impact they have made.

Access Social Care:

Our funding supported the development of Access Ava, a digital tool providing accessible, expert legal information to help people understand their social care rights and access the support they need.

Throughout our partnership, Access Ava reached over 50,000 website visits and 16,000 conversations with users. These figures demonstrate the growing demand for accessible, rights-based social care information.

Alzheimer’s Society:

Our funding supported the Longitude Prize on Dementia, an initiative bringing together innovators to develop life-changing assistive technologies for people living with dementia.

Through this partnership, 24 assistive technologies have been funded and supported, with one, CrossSense, being awarded the £1 million prize to continue their work. This partnership has helped people with dementia maintain their independence, build confidence and stay connected to the world around them.

National Theatre:

Our partnership with the National Theatre brought together theatre and social care to create meaningful experiences and strengthen communities through the Public Acts Programme.

Over three years, the programme supported seven productions and reached more than 10,000 people. This demonstrates the power of theatre to bring communities together and help more people feel included and connected.

Together, these partnerships have shown how targeted funding, collaboration and innovative thinking can make a meaningful difference to people lives. We are so proud to have contributed to more accessible, inclusive and supporting communities.
