At CareTech Foundation, we take data protection seriously and we are committed to ensure that we are GDPR compliant. CareTech Foundation will be the Controller of the personal data and will only use your personal information when you apply to the Foundation for a grant or when you consent to being a supporter of the Foundation.

 

How do we collect information?

We collect information about you when you access our website through our grant application form or register your interest in the Foundation through the website or via email.

We collect personal data that allows us to communicate with you and to process grant applications. Additionally, if you consent we may email you to invite you to events that might be of interest to you or inform you of recent developments in the work of the Foundation.

Caretech Foundation complies with its obligations under the GDPR by keeping personal data up to date and by storing and destroying it securely.

The Foundation’s website uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), signified by the lock in the browser address bar, meaning that your connection to the site is encrypted and secure at all times.

The website is hosted with DigitalOcean who are GDPR compliant.

Why do we collect information?

We require basic personal data in order to communicate with grant applicants and supporters of Caretech Foundation. We will not collect any personal data from you that we do not need to process grant applications. We collect information in order to fulfil our charitable purposes and will always have a lawful purpose for any information we collect.
