Welcome, to Gyorgy and John
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Gyorgy Budi and John Reidy as Staff Trustees for the CareTech Foundation.
Gyorgy has joined the Foundation as a Staff Trustee. He currently manages two CareTech Ltd Adults services, Jasper Lodge and Edward House, after starting his career as a support worker in 2015. His passion for people and warm character have been key drivers of his professional success. We are thrilled to have him on board with us at the Foundation.
John has also joined the Foundation as a Staff Trustee. John is a Regional Manager for CareTech Ltd services. He has held an operational role working directly with children and adults that utilise a wide range of services for over twenty-five years. His dedication to the social care sector and his experience have been proven in his appointment as Staff Trustee. We are pleased to be working with him at the Foundation.
Having members of CareTech Ltd staff on our trustee board is immensely valuable. Their hands-on experience in frontline settings brings essential insight and expertise that will greatly support our mission to champion the sector, its dedicated workforce and those living in care.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Jessica Taplin and Victoria Bouamama as they step down as Trustees from the CareTech Foundation.
Jessica joined us as a Trustee in 2019, Chair of Grants Committee and Member of Audit, Risk and Investment Committee, following her commitment and background in the non profit sector. As the Chief Executive of the British Gas Energy Trust and a valued strategic advisor and mentor, her expertise has played a vital role in creating lasting impact within the social care sector.
Victoria joined us as a Staff Trustee and member of Remuneration Committee due to her passion and dedication within the social care sector. Having worked hands on in management and education within the health and social care sector, her understanding and passion for the field has been crucial in shaping the Foundation’s direction and driving its meaningful impact
