We are delighted to announce Community Grant Awareness Week 2023

From 24th April to 28th April 2023 we will be shining a spotlight on the Grant, the staff who have used it and how you can apply too! The Community Grant is available to all CareTech staff. You can nominate your family, friends and local community projects for an award of up to £2,500.

Every day this week, we will highlight the amazing projects and stories of how staff have helped or been the difference to a project or someone dear to their heart who has benefited from their support.

The Community Grant was launched in 2017. From then to now, we have supported 172 Community Grants for a total of £264,873. This has included support for:

  • Samantha Crossfield, CareTech Administrator who nominated her 86-year-old grandmother who has few medical conditions for a Community Grant. With our Community Grant, Samantha was able to fund a stair lift for her grandmother.
  • Tanya Davis-Walkden, Senior Business Development Manager at CareTech, who nominated her friend’s daughter, Heidi-Lou, a 9-year-old girl with Quad Cerebral Palsy for a Community Grant. The grant allowed Heidi-Lou to have a critical operation to improve her mobility and has made a huge difference to her life.
