The Foundation awards Community Grant to My Vote My Voice – #MyVoteMatters!

We are delighted to award a Community Grant to My Vote My Voice - #MyVoteMatters!

We are proud to announce we are supporting the parliamentary reception for for My Vote My Voice for #MyVoteMatters with a Community Grant. The event is taking place on 19th July between 2.30 pm and 5.00 pm at Portcullis House in London, in partnership with the All Party Parliamentary Group on Adult Social Care (APPG). The event will highlight how you can play your part in making voting accessible for people with autism and learning disabilities.

It will feature self-advocates sharing their ‘lived’ experiences of voting barriers and a panel discussion with parliamentarians about disabled voices’ greater representation in politics.

“The accessible voting rights of people with autism and learning disabilities matter. We are delighted to support My Vote My Voice for #MyVoteMatters with a Community Grant and highlight the importance of accessibility with voting rights for people who are often forgotten. We believe these people deserve the right to vote and for this to be accessible. And to have their say on how society is run.”
