We're delighted to award a Community Grant to The Shots Foundation of £1,200 to help support its Vets Hub Programme.
We’re delighted to award a Community Grant to The Shots Foundation of £1,200 to help support its Vets Hub Programme. The programme provides an essential place for veterans to come together and meet when times are tough or difficult. And this is particularly relevant given the town’s strong army background.
The Shots Foundation is committed to working with every local school, community group, charity, organisation and stakeholder to improve lives and provide opportunities through a series of fundraising, engagement and inclusion initiatives.
"Having a place to go during difficult times and crisis moments is critical for veterans. We are delighted the grant from the Foundation will go toward helping the Vet Hubs programme for The Shots Foundation. Crucially, it will make sure veterans have a meeting place where they can connect and support each other through tough times. "
