With a vision to build a strong and diverse civil society in which organisations are governed well to achieve their social aims, Trustees Unlimited develops trustees, strengthens boards and drives change for a better society.
Trustees Unlimited knows that trustee boards aren’t diverse enough and one of the challenges is people from a wide range of backgrounds who are unable to see people like them represented as trustees. However, as that picture slowly changes, the aim has been to gather the profiles of people from BAME (black, asian, minority ethnic) backgrounds who are already serving on boards. The Inspire List will provide a snapshot, but the hope is that it will capture and promote the wide range of people already giving their time, skills and experiences for the benefit of charitable organisations.
