National Inclusion Week: Breaking Barriers
National Inclusion Week: Breaking Barriers
It’s National Inclusion Week! And this year’s theme is ‘Build Trust. Navigate Change’
We are proud to partner with Breaking Barriers to create sustainable pathways into meaningful employment for refugees in the UK care sector.
CareTech Ltd is committed to strengthening connections between refugee talent and employers across the care industry. They will also support by delivering employability programmes and sector-specific, company-wide workshops to help individuals develop the skills and confidence needed to thrive in the sector.
Throughout the partnership, we’ve seen how important trust can be when people are re-establishing careers and building new lives.
Refugees arrive in the UK with valuable skills, experience and qualifications. But starting again in a new country is a journey of change, and often means navigating unfamiliar systems, workplaces and ways of life.
Finding meaningful employment, rebuilding professional confidence and establishing a sense of belonging can take time. The right support, built on trust, is crucial. Which is why we work with Breaking Barriers, helping refugees to access the advice, insights and workplace experiences they need to move forward in their careers.
But meaningful inclusion goes beyond creating opportunities. It means building workplaces where people feel welcomed, respected and trusted. Places where different experiences and perspectives are valued, and where everyone can contribute and thrive.
This National Inclusion Week, please join us in reflecting on the role we all play in building trust, navigating change, and creating workplaces where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
