The Children’s Society

The Foundation is delighted to partner with The Children’s Society on the World’s leading Young Carers Festival which sees unpaid carers aged 11-17 enjoy a weekend that is catered exclusively for them. Being a young carer is beyond stressful. It presents young people with severe challenges that they must often tackle alone while caring for one, but often more than one, person in their family. Through this partnership, YMCA and The Children’s Society will host three events, for a full weekend once a year, inviting 1,000 unpaid carers from across the country with essential travel grants provided by the Foundation making the event more accessible than before.
