TRUSTEES REPORT
Following the decision to stop hosting Championing Social Care in April 2024, the initiative successfully secured independent registration and continued its delivery of the Fundraising Ball, Care Home Open Week, Christmas Lunch and Care Sector’s Got Talent. Due to elections, MPs did not attend this year’s Care Home Open Week, but, the interest was consistent with last year with thousands of homes and services participating and getting behind the Great British Cycle Relay. The Fundraising Ball continued to deliver on its fundraising targets, raising over £200,000 for The Care Workers’ Charity and Marie Curie.
