Methodology

Bean Research has worked with CareTech Foundation since its inception, developing an approach to impact measurement, including an impact framework and working with grantees to ensure effective impact reporting and feeding learnings into trustees’ funding decisions.

In 2023, a revised impact framework was designed to reflect the Foundation’s new strategy and aims for 2026, based on discussions with CareTech Foundation management, trustees and grantee charities. Bean Research also developed judging criteria for potential grants to be reviewed against the new framework.

Work on a new impact framework for the Foundation will commence in early 2026, and we look forward to sharing this with our supporters.

This report has been compiled with data predominantly gathered from monitoring and evaluation. Data analysis took place over Oct-Nov 2025.
