PARTNERSHIP GRANTS
The Foundation is delighted to partner with AFK – Action for Kids, providing funding for over three years towards the programme. The programme will offer support and training for neurodiverse young people to seek employment opportunities in the care sector. By partnering with AFK, the Foundation is committed to empowering disabled young people with the skillsets, trainings, and experiences they need to find meaningful and sustainable employment in the care sector. As part of the programme CareTech Ltd will provide in-kind support and offer diverse work placement identifying 20 young people classified as NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) and securing job interviews for 24 young people, aiming for at least 10 to secure paid positions. These opportunities will have a positive impact towards disabled young people, and help them to make significant contribution to their communities. Additionally, the programme will create opportunities for CareTech Ltd staff to develop mentoring and coaching skills ensuring long term employment sustainability.
