The UK Social Care Sector: Staff Engagement

Many CareTech Ltd employees have been involved in our partnerships.

Whizz-Kidz

Increasing programme accessibility.

Lee Jones, Managing Director of CareTech Children’s, attended a Whizz Kids Max Day to discuss the benefits of the programme for social care providers.

This unique offering of events provides wheelchair users who are under 18 an incredible opportunity to have a day entirely catered to them and, with the support of Lee and his team, Whizz Kids received advice and guidance on how to engage with social care providers to make the programme more accessible.

Alzheimer’s Society

Providing testing platforms for applying research.

Rob McAfee has been meeting with the innovators and Alzheimer’s Society on the Longitude Prize for Dementia to advise on the practical benefits of the innovations.

For those innovations with real world relevance, CareTech Ltd has agreed to offer testing platforms in its services. The biggest hurdle facing the innovators is access to testing sites and input from care professionals, addressed directly by Rob and the team through their involvement.
