Methodology:

Bean Research has worked with CareTech Foundation since its inception, developing an approach to impact measurement, including an impact framework and working with grantees to ensure effective impact reporting and feeding learnings into trustees’ funding decisions.

In 2023, a new impact framework was designed to reflect the Foundation’s new strategy and aims for 2026, based on discussions with CareTech Foundation management, trustees and grantee charities. Bean also developed judging criteria for potential grants to be reviewed against the new framework.

This report has been compiled with data predominantly gathered from monitoring and evaluation forms developed on the new framework. Data analysis took place over Oct-Nov 2024.
