Lisa is a Specialist Services Manager at Coveberry Oldbury, part of the CareTech Group that provides expert assessment and rehabilitation for adults with a learning disability or autism who present with mental health or behavioural support needs, including those with a forensic history.
Throughout her adult life, Lisa worked in a variety of jobs before deciding on pursuing a career in Mental Health Nursing. On qualifying, she quickly developed a passion for supporting people in difficult and often distressing periods of their lives. As she progressed through her career in mental health hospitals and social care settings and gained valuable experience, she also developed a desire to share this knowledge with others to develop their understanding of how to provide person-centred high-quality care for people in care settings.
To this day, Lisa continues to have the passion and drive to support patients and residents to have a fulfilled life within the services she manages.
Lisa was Overall Winner of the CareTech Care Awards 2021, recognising the inspiration she gives to her team to emulate her passion and commitment towards the people in her services’ care.
