Friends join Scottish Fun Run to help find cure for Motor Neurone Disease
A group of 17 friends entered a fun run to raise funds to help find a cure for Motor Neurone Disease in memory of Danny Anderson, who died earlier this year.
Elizabeth, a residential worker with Spark of Genuis, along with friends, raised almost £1,130, including £250 from the CareTech Foundation, which is being donated to MND Scotland. The charity is the only Scottish charity providing care and support to people affected by Motor Neurone Disease, as well as funding research to take us a step closer to a cure.
MND Scotland provide practical, financial, and emotional support to people affected by MND. The Fun Run took place in Strathchlyde Park, with hundreds of runners completing the course in aid of MND Scotland.
