The Foundation awarded a Community Grant of £2,242 to Field Lane who has been supporting vulnerable families and adults with learning disabilities for over 180 years!
With the support of the Foundation, the charity has been able to purchase additional equipment for the sensory room for one of its Surrey projects. The sensory room provides a calm space for clients who have a range of learning disabilities including autism, epilepsy and mental health issues. The room offers stimulation that will help clients to cope more effectively with their everyday lives. It will give them a place to go to find much needed calm whenever they are feeling stressed and anxious.
